It's been a long winter and it's almost time to put away those winter coats and hats and pick up the surfers and sunnies! Sun Sports+ is open for our 29th season as of Friday April 21st. Let's dive in and we will give you a little sneak preview of what's new in the shop for 2023.

It's been a long winter and it's almost time to put away those winter coats and hats and pick up the surfers and sunnies! Sun Sports+ is open for our 29th season as of Friday April 21st. We will be in the shop 7 days a week through the end of September. We've got all the newest in water sports equipment and fads and we can't wait to share them all with you. 

What's New This Summer:

One of our favorite new lines is our very own Sun Sports+ branded hats, tees, board shorts, and more. rep your favorite local surf shop all summer long with some new Sun Sports+ swag. Our sunglass cases are stocked with new frames and styles. 

Fliteboard is back this year at Sun Sports+. This year too we are offering Fliteschool Lessons where you can learn to ride an eFoil. There's no feeling quite like it. You'll just have to try it out for yourself! Book your lesson online here. 

New Wakesurfers: 

2023 Flyweight Thruster is top on our list of surfers to try. This board features a wide tail for the ultimate push from the wave. The blended rail system in this board will allow you to sit higher in the water, but generate speed and aggression from carving and thrashing the wave. All in all the Thruster is a great option for steeper waves or for larger riders looking to stay in the sweet spot of the wave. The 4'4 is great for riders up to 180lbs. The 4'10 covers everyone else (or smaller riders on a smaller wave.) 

The 2023 Ronix Standard surfer is a great hybrid option that won't break the bank. At $499, this is a light weight surfer with a lot of width beneath your front foot. All you have to do to generate speed is step on the gas peddle and you'll shoot forward with ease. The Standard is a great option for your first wake surfer, or as a dependable ride on any wave. 

What's new in Wake:

The Connelly Standard is a slept on wakeboard. First introduced in 2015, the Standard’s elegantly effective design is a testament to how some boards can be over- engineered to the point where performance suffers. The continuous rocker is smooth up the wake and a wide outline provides added kick. A subtle edge rail and center channel blended with adjustable easy-bite fins tracks naturally without locking you in. Back this year with new graphics and subtle upgrades, you'll be launching off the wake in no time.

New products are arriving at the shop every day! This time of year is like Christmas for us. Every day we get to unwrap equipment and clothing and assemble the store for all of you. Our doors are open 7 days a week starting Friday April 21st through September, and we can't wait to have you all back in the shop again!
