The most comprehensive foil set up on the market from learning how to start to 4th wave adventures - Shift Adjustable Mast & 28" Mast / Balance 1300cm2 Front Wing
Welcome to the Stairway to the Heaven and White Lightning.
The gateway to your flight enchantment.
This Shift Mast will accomplish 3 things for you.
- Make deep water starts a breeze.
- Give you the confidence to turn your foil kit and really understand the correct body position as you navigate your set up through the waters.
- Begin your journey of flying without a handle in smaller wave conditions.
Featuring our adjustable shift mast in 3 varying heights that will advance your riding as you are ready to the next higher mast height.
Once you have progressed through the Shift Mast welcome to White Lightning.
Our favorite foil set up in the summer of 2021 – this is when we realized we could have a setup that checks all the boxes, powerful pumps, responsive, a ton of down the line speed, and overall performance rivaling carbon setups twice the price.
White lightning is for somebody that wants high end performance on a mid-level price point and understands how to pump and will use the height of the 28” mast and wants a quick turning but still very stable design.
The Balance 1300 creates a nimble turn that will easily roll over to edge with its elliptical outline and additional width. It will quickly set you in the sweet spot, keep you on your specified flight pattern and do it with a consistent, stable edge hold.
I love the fact that the carbon wing is painted over in white so I can easily see where my front wing is relative to the waterline to help prevent breeching.
Hybrid Construction – Comes complete with our O2 infusion autoclave manufacturing for the cleanest water exit on front wing and rear stabilizer.
3D Robotics – A solid connection fuselage where a high-grade corrosion resistant alloy is perfectly milled to perfection providing that link between your 4 main foil intersections.
Stairway to Heaven comes with our 727 board series available in 3 sizes.
This shape and construction will have you in a stable backseat position always feeling comfortable with your flight while the straps that are included help out with deep water starts.
Our most stable shape the 727 is the perfect counter to our hybrid series collection blending the learning curve, to mid/high level performance.
Once you outgrown this mast height for an affordable value you can upgrade to a 24 or 28” mast and have a real high end set up.
For many foiling is H20 Utopia and the Stairway to Heaven is the perfect start.

727 Foil Board
The perfect shape for somebody new to foiling that wants that stable backfoot heavy riding style. Or for high end riders that want to be strapped in working on their aerials. A very consistent, medium-tempo, thin-profile board that will always have you in control.
Fluid Shift Edition Mast
Raise your hand if you thought getting up on a wakesurfer was a piece of cake and the same experience on a wakefoil had a different outcome. It’s been interesting to find out that to a certain degree the better you are at surfing can often penalize you in foiling. So, how could we make foiling easier with our products? With the first ever adaptable mast. We have a patent pending on an adjustable mast that allows the product to evolve with the rider’s ability. Just starting out – shift the mast as far back to the tail as you can and shorten the height of the mast to its lowest 14” height setting. This will minimize the flight ability and maximize your chances of getting up and cruising around. As you build confidence you can then position the mast slightly further forward on the tracks (closer to the tip) and gradually raise the height to the next 3” height increment – 17”. Over the years we have had countless people with no watersports background that have had a fun and successful flight on the 14” mast height and then have quickly graduated to the 17” height position. More advanced riders can session a wave without the handle at the 20” height position while moving the mast further forward (closer to the tip) on the tracks. All while riding the same set up. The result is the easiest and most adaptable wakefoil on the market in varying heights of 14” / 17” and 20”. Truly is 3 in 1.
28" Fluid Mast
Stay high, stay consistent, stay fluid. Speed, lift and travel usually override arguably the most important aspect of your mast – the flow. We have tested a variety of foils in the marketplace. A common theme was feeling the foil setup turning in stages. Each pivot would be good for another “X” degrees until you finally arced through a sectioned turn. We were looking for an effortless turn like you get from ripping powder. A shape manifested with a built-in metronome to keep a consistent, prolonged cadence. The temperament of this mast will see you through the progression of flight all the way to second wave exploration nearly 80 feet from the boat. A fluid session will always have you feeling in control of your ride as you comfortably stand upright in a natural foil position. Don’t let it fool you though – it’s still very much capable of jumping on the gas for a port to starboard wave transfer – just with smooth, linked predictable turns.
Link 3D Fuselage
The Link 3D is the intersection to the mast, front wing and rear stabilizer with perfection in every nuance. Each fuselage starts out as a high-grade alloy in the shape of a long brick and is then milled on a 3 axis CNC machine to the exact dimension for the perfect fit between the connection points. This streamlined conical design achieves the highest marks of anything we have ever tested in rigidity and water efficiency. A strong efficient link is in many ways the driving force to a smooth predictable foiling experience.
Rhythmic flow of a sequence of movements A common theme in analyzing foils is getting great drive and lift but having a hard time controlling it. The board will skyrocket to the top, plunge to the bottom, or somewhere in between. This series of wings will ask you what floor on the elevator do you want to reach – and most importantly – keep you there. A nimble turn that will easily roll over to edge with its elliptical outline and additional width. It will quickly set you in the sweet spot, keep you on your specified flight pattern and do it with a quicker reacting edge hold.
Balance Rear Stabilizer 240CM2
The voice of reason mounted on the back of your Link Fuselage is there to conduct your voyage as you navigate the seas. A low temperament design that helps steer the ship and bail you out of a jam when off axis. The perfect amount of grip for those new to foiling – yet still has enough speed to transfer on the second wave.
